OUR MISSIONS
Our commitment
With the Sivan Weil Foundation, we wish to honor Sivan’s memory and continue his commitment to the IDF by supporting wounded soldiers every year in their physical and moral rehabilitation. By offering war-wounded soldiers the chance to take part in rehabilitation projects involving extreme sports and skiing, which Sivan loved so much, the Foundation aims to help rebuild the physical and moral health of these soldiers, individually and collectively, while defending their country.
Foundation core focuses
The “October 7 war” left thousands of soldiers with serious injuries, creating an unprecedented need for medical, physical and psychological rehabilitation. We feel it’s essential to support them in this reconstruction process.
Why extreme sport?
❤️ Psychological benefits
These activities help soldiers to surpass themselves, overcome their fears and regain their self-confidence, while enjoying a soothing natural setting.
🧠 Physiological benefits
Extreme sports stimulate physical capacities and support muscular rehabilitation.
At the Sivan Weil Foundation, we also wish to emphasize the human dimension of the projects that will be initiated by relying on a team of volunteers who are already committed to supporting our projects. The aim is to accompany and support the soldiers throughout their rehabilitation process, before, during and after the trips, by creating a personal bond and sharing the Sivan story.
The aim of the Sivan Weil Foundation is to identify, support and collaborate with organizations specializing in sports rehabilitation, offering programs adapted and supervised by experts to maximize the benefits for wounded soldiers. These projects will be selected each year by a committee of experts.

Goal: Ski Trip in 2027
In a moving and symbolic gesture, for the first year of the project, the Foundation will finance the departure of 15 soldiers from Sivan’s team to the Commando Egoz unit, all of whom were wounded in the attack in which Sivan lost his life.
To carry out this operation, the Foundation has joined forces with the SHEVET association, renowned for its expertise in ski holidays for the disabled, and which immediately responded to the need to professionally support this project, which is essential for the physical and moral rehabilitation of Sivan’s friends, both individually and collectively, after the terrible event they experienced last March. In preparation and during the stay, they will be accompanied by Nathan and Ido, Sivan’s brothers, and by his close friends, who are mobilized to help Sivan’s brothers-in-arms in this physical and mental challenge. A fine example of solidarity, resilience and love around and through the skiing that Sivan loved so much, and a wonderful way of keeping his memory alive and paying tribute to him!
Flexibility of future initiatives
Each year, the Foundation will adjust its choice of partners and activities to better meet soldiers’ rehabilitation needs.
